We handcraft nourishing balms and body butters using high-quality, skin-loving ingredients - including grass-fed + grass-finished tallow, organic beeswax and cold-pressed botanical oils.

Each formula is designed to support and restore the skin barrier, making it especially suitable for those experiencing dryness, irritation, acne or eczema.

Inspired by ancestral skincare wisdom and refined through a modern, minimalist approach, our products are always free from synthetic fragrances, fillers and unnecessary additives.

Meet Our Founder

 

Hi, I’m Emma,

Founder of Bare Balm Tallow, mum of three girls, and a firm believer that skincare should be simple, honest and truly nourishing.

Bare Balm began in my kitchen during a time when my family and I were navigating ongoing skin issues. My girls were dealing with eczema, and I had been struggling with reactive, sensitive skin for years.

Like many people, I became frustrated with trying product after product, only to be let down and find myself back at square one, unsure whether I could trust the next recommendation or formula.

I wanted something different.

Something real. Something I could feel confident using on my children’s skin and my own.

When I couldn’t find it, I decided to create it.

I spent years researching, testing and refining my own formula using grass-fed tallow - a skin loving, nutrient rich ingredient naturally high in vitamins and fatty acids our skin recognises and responds to.

Carefully balanced with organic beeswax and a small selection of nourishing oils, I finally created a balm that felt right and that formulation changed everything.

Our skin became calmer. My daughters’ eczema eased. Friends and family began asking for jars of their own.

What started as a personal solution quickly grew into something much bigger - a skincare brand rooted in intention, simplicity and real results.

Today, every jar of Bare Balm is still made in small batches on the Gold Coast using only pure, purposeful ingredients.

No fluff. No fillers. Just clean, nourishing balm for sensitive skin, dry skin, baby skin and every skin in between.
