Is tallow really okay for my face?

Yes! It's actually one of the best things for it. Tallow's fatty acid profile is almost identical to your skin's own natural oils, which is why sensitive and reactive skin responds so well.

What is tallow?

Tallow is a clean, natural fat taken from the kidney suet of grass-fed, grass-finished cattle.

It’s rich in skin-loving vitamins (A, D, E + K) and has a makeup very similar to our own skin oils, which is why it hydrates, repairs and calms the skin so well.

It’s an old-school ingredient brought back in a modern, non-toxic way.

Will it make my skin oily or break me out?

The opposite. Because tallow mirrors your skin's own sebum, it doesn't sit on the surface like synthetic moisturisers.

A pea-sized amount is all you need - most customers find their skin feels more balanced, never greasy.

Why water free?

Water in a formula requires preservatives and preservatives are often what reactive skin reacts to.
